@TheCalFoster I grew up watching Chiedozie. I loved watching Aidey Thorpe. I admired Campbell-Ryce. It was a joy to watch Grealish. I now know that Darren Drysdale is incompetent. I see Mike Riley commenting on a Notts player on TV. Refs want to be as famous as players. Game is worse off.

@PieCarlton Cynical = boring for fans I get marginal gains etc but it’s the blatant cheating that ruins it for fans and it’s the refs that fall for it that makes it that way. Just need refs to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to the player falling over, surely? As a fan I want that.

The ref might have interpreted the law correctly in his eyes However I very much doubt FIFA were trying to rid of the game of tackles like Ndlovu made today It was a 50/50 which he lost. No intent. Not reckless. Not dangerous. Just give a foul. End of. A 3 game ban as well?
