Seeing people say with their chest that the lighting in this movie is bad is genuinely baffling. There are several shots in this movie that are seared into my brain, chiefly because of the lighting.

YouTuber #CurryBarker grossed 5.6M on #2 BIGGEST 2nd WED of ALL TIME for horror, up incredible +74.3% from first TUE (vs #SINNERS 6.1M, -14.2%, #TheSixthSense’s 3.4M, -18.9%), despite adding just+40 theatres last FRI, now playing in just 2.655. It hits a 73.5M cume in the US! Don’t get shocked if the film ends up going up again on 3rd weekend, if it survives the blow from #Backrooms - and if #Focus resists the temptation of putting it on digital too soon. The film itself had a ridiculously low under 1M production price tag, and #Focus paid only 15M to acquire the global distribution rights from producers (sans France, Russia, Australia & NZ). Both sides seeing their investment paying off greatly. 100M+ mark coming this weekend already.
