Our Customer Experience team made the final stop of the Cleco Connects box fan giveaway today in Mansfield at the Chamber of Commerce to hand out 200 fans to senior customers in the community.

Crews have uncovered a lot of broken poles, downed wire and broken crossarms in some of the harder-to-reach areas of DeSoto Parish which is making restoration challenging for Stanley and the Toledo Bend area.
Cleco has restored power to 96 percent of the customers who lost power following Winter Storm Fern.
All customers, with the exception of roughly 650 customers in DeSoto Parish, have been restored.
Cleco and over 600 contractors have restored power to 90 percent of the 17,800 customers who lost power following Winter Storm Fern.

While we’re working toward these goals, there is the possibility that crews uncover unexpected damage that could prolong some outages, but that is our best assessment at this point in the day.

We expect to restore power to more customers tonight, but some customers will be without power overnight.
The Mansfield customer service office will remain closed on Wednesday, January 28 due to Winter Storm Fern. All other Cleco customer service offices will be open.
