A comeback to coaching at the age of 78 for the great Des Tuddenham. He's been appointed coach of the inaugural Port Melbourne Colts Div 1 Over 35s team. And they reckon Tuddy is fit enough to be a playing coach.

Mixed results yesterday for the club with the Masters having a strong win and the Supers and over 50s going down. We continue to see more and more new blokes arriving at the club which is great news so let’s stick together re group and get ready for Plenty Valley in 2 weeks away

Training tomorrow nite Airport West from 6pm sides to be read out as well as dinner $5 per head steak chips and salad can’t beat that. This week we travel to Hillside for the reserves and seniors while our over 50s travel to Ascot Vale get behind your local

Did Paul Hudson sneak in a game of amateur football back in Tassie on the weekend? And kick 20 goals in the No 26 strip? Wouldn’t put it past him, even at age 50. A 29-goal final term for the team too. Blimey.

Mixed results over the weekend the Supers going down to Western Saints by 10 goals the masters have a win by 4 goals and the 50s losing to Geelong by around 13 goals. Heads up boys only round 1 numbers are great and we will look to bounce back against Hillside in 2 weeks time
