Add to that a debut for Ed James and a bit of SJP sunshine. Could the dark cloud be moving on? Still need to address the ownership but the on pitch stuff felt good 🔴 ⚪

I've been on and off over the last few years and that was probably the most enjoyable game I've seen since MT left for Rotherham. GC did a great job in keeping the team in the league against all odds, truly incredible, but today I was excited watching again... #ECFC

@Anconitana78 This guy is manager out of his depth. Too many managers getting high profile jobs and can't do the basics!

@SteveLilley4 @Coach_Temisan @PassNSupport1 Steve, you delivered one of my Youth Modules, a fantastic experience and no doubt a big part in how I think about players and the environment to this day. I used to describe the Level 2 as my tool box (framework) and the Youth Modules as the tools that went inside it.

@CoachingPope @Coach_Temisan After almost 20 years of delivering Coach Education for the FA, I came away from it completely last Summer, so can’t comment of the courses themselves. However, we @PassNSupport1 work with hundreds of grassroots coaches and the knowledge gaps are wide. It saddens me tbh ⚽️🎓💔

@supersonic1974 @coachtonymee @Coach_Temisan @SteveLilley4 The Level 1 probably acted as a filter for who to accept on a Level 2? Therefore my peers would have been better and helped push me on from earlier in my journey. The Youth Modules are now integrated, which againis less hours on the grass in a structured learning environment.

@supersonic1974 @coachtonymee @Coach_Temisan @SteveLilley4 Perhaps my interpretation of the content as a deliver of the courses? I will always look at myself first. Compared to when I was a learner though it felt like I had to do more to earn it. On top of that, I picked up many good habits from my 'on the grass' Level 1.

@Coach_Temisan @SteveLilley4 Oh and I am now in a position to hire such coaches... Sadly, as willing as they are, a lot of C Licence and B Licence coaches aren't ready for the respective JPL roles and EFL Academy roles that have those qualifications as a threshold.

@Coach_Temisan @SteveLilley4 And as sad as it sounds those courses have been some of my favourite days in life. The friends you make, the fun you have, all whilst kicking a football. I now deliver the courses and always try to keep that in mind. It's a lot harder to recreate that environment now.

16 points from a possible 18, a system that suits the players, a style that reflects and respects club traditions, players enjoying their football, pride back in the shirt and in the work, a caretaker who really cares. It’s Carrick you know. Good man-management that keeps even high-profile subs happy and ready, team heading back to the Champions League, connection with academy, reconnection with fans, all in it together, Manchester United again. It’s Carrick, you know it makes sense. #MUFC
