Outward 2 has been delayed, according to developer Nine Dots. -Outward 2 will no longer launch into early access on July 7th as originally planned. -Nine Dots is now targeting a 2027 release for the game. -More specific timing will be shared at a later date. -Nine Dots made the decision to delay the release after thoroughly going through community feedback during the recent closed and open betas for the game Guillaume Boucher-Vidal, Nine Dots CEO and Co-Founder, shared the statement below regarding the delay: "I know that this might seem sudden, as not that long ago we released a trailer inviting people to explore Aurai this summer, but the truth is that if we just stubbornly stick to the plan, we’re delivering a product that might not satisfy your expectations."
