Am I the only one to be a tad suspicious that the Iran war was started to get Epstein out of the headlines, and now they’re using Epstein to get the Iran war fiasco out of the headlines?

Sir Tony Blair has accused Ed Miliband of taking an “ideological” approach to net zero and called on him to approve new oil and gasfields in the North Sea to protect households and businesses from energy price shocks The Tony Blair Institute, the former prime minister’s think tank, said the government should approve new licences for the drilling of the Jackdaw gasfield and the Rosebank oilfield to help address Britain’s “systematic energy crisis” The report, which was endorsed by Blair, argues that Britain needs to pursue a two-track approach by producing more clean energy while accelerating domestic oil and gas production to reduce Britain’s exposure to global markets Tone Langengen, a policy adviser at the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) and author of the paper, also said the UK risked falling behind global competitors by solely focusing on clean power “If the government doubles down on the wrong parts of the system, the UK will remain exposed to the same vulnerabilities,” he said “But this is also an opportunity to reset — including by accelerating domestic supply to reduce reliance on volatile imports and support UK jobs and tax revenues.” thetimes.com/article/30599d…

We’re backing the next chapter of South Yorkshire’s industrial heritage, with over 400 new industrial jobs through this major hydrogen investment. This is our clean energy mission in action: rebuilding our energy security with clean homegrown power and good industrial jobs.

He needs to be removed from office. He is obviously unwell. The sooner both sides of the Congress get out of denial and accept the gravity of the situation the better for the country and the world.

Every day, one million animals are killed on American roads. It costs us $8 billion a year. Wildlife overpasses are proven to fix this. They are bridges, covered in soil, native plants, and sometimes trees that span highways and allow animals to cross safely. They've been common in Europe since the 1950s, and the US has over 1,000 of them built now. The data is extraordinary: in Banff National Park, 44 crossings along the Trans-Canada Highway reduced large mammal collisions by 80% and elk and deer collisions by 96%. In Arizona, one stretch of highway saw a 90% drop in wildlife collisions after crossings were installed. Animals are 146% more likely to use a crossing than attempt a random highway crossing. One overpass in Arizona was used over 6,000 times by bighorn sheep, bobcats, deer, and coyotes. They cost $5-15 million each. Why aren't we building thousands a year?

@CAevs Arrogant and unnecessary BS. There is no requirement to slaughter an innocent & endangered bird whatsoever apart from your own petty & disgraceful bloodlust. Grow up & work out how humans should treat their ecosystems.

While the world focuses on the destruction in Iran, we must not ignore what Israel is doing in Lebanon. 1,461 have been killed. 4,430 have been injured. 1.2 million have been displaced. Israel now occupies 14% of Lebanon. Enough is enough. No more US military aid to Israel.
