@Mildsomee The infrastructure is definitely there for the online stuff that we could def pick up the slack a bit. The offline stuff is trickier, but I'm more than happy to help out where possible, shouldn't have to do it all yourself.

I feel like I'm in this unenviable position where I want to step back from all this organizing to focus on being the best 3rd Strike player. But if I step down, there won't even *be* a 3rd Strike scene to be the best in...

@BusyCasualCL @Bri4nF Parrying fireballs in 3S is trivially easy and carries very little risk. It's part of the reason traditional fireball zoning is largely absent in that game.

@Bri4nF Yeah I don't know about anyone else but I really feel like Drive Parry plus his limited fireball game makes projectile zoning borderline useless. Like in 3S the risk is you have to hit forward but in this game it's very easy to just parry fireballs no risk to your heart's content

Finally hit UGM w/ Sagat with 3 days of ranked grind Dude controls like a tank and upercuting with him is really hard with him due to slow walk speed making crosscuts extremely situational. Requires a ton of patience to play... but idk if that's what SF6 wants from you

@broskiFGC Check the FX chain of any given track on any pop record in the last 25 years. You'll see more inserts than all tracks combined on a whole record from the 70s. Modern recordings are optimised to b get vocals to cut through phone speakers at the expense of everything else.

genuine question because i dont know shit about music recording/mastering but how come albums from the 60s and 70s just sound so...i dont know, crisp? like i can hear all the instruments so clearly compared to modern music where everything kind of blends together

@AndreaDicastro_ @Mildsomee Just tested it, tapping down in this case didn't actually do anything, you can just go straight to 8D. You can test basic charge partitioning (try doing a flash kick by breaking the charge in half) and you'll see it doesn't exist in this game

Kain can heavily increase his damage output through charge partitioning his clHP into lanz, with enough optimization you can setup an untechable mixup that if guessed wrong can lead to a perfect 2 touch with a single bar, the 2 touch itself also builds 95% bar, insane #COTW_kain
