@SHaffner66430 @ron_eisele "Widowmaker" was a term the press came up with especially after early Luftwaffe pilots crashed a pile of these. The problem was inadequate training. Pilots called it "the Zip". From friends' fathers who flew this, they all loved it.

@ron_eisele Flying at low level like this killed a lot of Canadian pilots. The F-104 was known as the Widowmaker. That small thin wing wasn't very forgiving without enough altitude to get yourself out of trouble.

Played ASL B Tractor Works today. Not quite full rules (mentoring a new player). My Germans had the upper hand, but the Soviets were far from our of it! Great fun! #AdvancedSquadLeader @MultiManPub
