Malik Stanley @SSB_Leek1, shouldn't you make a public apology to the Italian guy you harassed in Japan, a couple weeks ago? Just because you thought you heard him say the "N-word", you felt you were entitled to physically assault him???

@Iberianamerica Well that’s definitely inherited. Segregation is something New Spain viceroyalty created and Mexico got stuck with it. Spain have practically the same mentality with cute 1600s buildings and a lot of “nap times”. Even though you might be partially right, the analysis is shallow.

"Mexicans are inefficient AF" I agree 💯 As much as I like Mexico after 8 years and counting living here, it is one of the main problems you notice You get to a point living here where mentally you need to be at a place where you think to yourself: "If I let someone with down syndrome handle this task, how would he likely fuck it up?" That's how it sometimes be when paying a local in Mexico to do something for you Where you get used to thinking ahead of time how exactly is he going to mess things up and what can you do now to either help him not fuck things up or navigate around the stupidity or laziness you're going to face And even after 8 years here, there's still occasionally a new way the locals surprise me in what stupid shit they did As to why people are like this? It comes down mostly to the following (though not every Mexican is like this): 1) A lot of people are poor and have a poverty mindset and will try to save a few pesos at the expense of offering such a shitty service that they lose customers 2) A lot of people aren't smart enough to think long term or that actions have consequences Sometimes they don't even seem smart enough to know how to respond to a customer inquiry about a product You send a message on WhatsApp complete with name and what you want. They respond with "hola" and won't respond again until you do and then they'll ask you "what do you want?" despite you already having explained 3) A lot of people here half ass everything. Many don't take pride in what they do 4) A lot of people are overworked (especially when you factor in commute time) so naturally they're slower at doing things from being tired There is a correlation between how many hours someone has worked and how they become less productive per hour over time 5) There's more scammers and less protection for those scammed 6) Much of the consumer base has lower expectations and are tolerant of shitty results. They're used to nothing happening if you complain or, in worst case scenario, things getting violent if you complain Though the amount of tolerance a Mexican has for shitty results is pretty well correlated to how wealthy they are But given most Mexicans are kinda poor, you'll see high tolerance of stupid shit more commonly than not. This reminds me too of how on occasion gringos will visit Mexico and be appalled by how classist and aggressive the wealthy Mexicans are to those working for them Yes, there is classism and at times it's not justified. Quite often locals take it way too far But when you live here long enough, you start to understand the aggressive behavior of the wealthy Mexican and why he treats his employees like slaves Why is he such a hard ass to his cleaning lady or whoever works for him? Because if you aren't checking and double checking their work and even pestering them a little, they'll simply not do the job properly or at all It's like you got to whip these people to stay on their ass because if you stop checking up on them for even 5 minutes, they'll try to spend an hour on Whatsapp And look, I just want to clarify again that I don't hate Mexico or Mexicans. Not all Mexicans are inefficient And every country on the planet has problems. Even the USA. No place is perfect But there's nothing wrong with pointing out the faults of a place, especially when giving advice to others on how to live there and what to expect (such as when trying to plan a wedding) And in fact, Mexico and especially CDMX are not as bad when it comes to inefficiency as what you find in most Latin American countries in my experience It's one reason why I loved CDMX so much when I first arrived here The average local doesn't LITERALLY have down syndrome (unlike in places such as Bolivia or Nicaragua) and the average local is more efficient than what you find in most of the region Mexicans aren't as great as Chileans for example but they could be worse: they could be fucking Guatemalans. It's MALA for a reason! So going back to the main point: Want to live in or do business in Mexico or Latin America? Get into the habit of learning how most commonly people screw things up here and learn how to navigate around it in advance Always expect the worst. Because sometimes the third world will fuck you harder than how Mia Khalifa gets fucked if you don't

Méxicans are so inefficient, I swear! 🤬 My fiancée picked and measured her dress months ago. It was supposed to be in Tijuana already, they didnt send it, and now can't get it into TJ because the highways in México are shutdown. We are almost a week away. They're going to send it to Michoacán by air. But tomorrow! So it's going to go into the hands of who else knows, and now we have to rely on the mexican mail system? Everything in México is like this, and as a result, no one expects any thing other than inefficiency and incompetence.

No..no…no. Denied…no..;denied again. You don’t get to scrap legal principles going back to the 12th century that built the most successful society ever between the largest empire ever, science, freedom, the Industrial Revolution, creating the modern world order and the rest. The current British regime is the most oppressive ever in the history of the Anglosphere
