Another late-season winter storm is underway across the Northern Plains and will spread into the Upper Midwest. Heavy snow (8"+, locally over a foot) and significant icing will create hazardous to dangerous travel, with very difficult to impossible conditions at times.

April 3rd, 6:45 AM - High Wind Warnings have been expanded to include the southern Nebraska panhandle from 9 AM this morning through 6 PM this evening. Wind gusts up to 60 mph are possible in the panhandle, while gusts up to 70 mph possible across southeast Wyoming. #WYwx #NEwx

Still expecting fairly widespread showers and storms tonight into Thursday. A few storms could be strong to severe early Thursday morning and again early afternoon. Additional severe storm chances move in Friday, but questions remain on timing and location of the highest threat.

@CreteCarrier @Brian1890violin Crete was OK. Did nothing wrong. I had to shorten the clip for posting. Crete had initiated backing into a stall & was in his maneuver. He was clear. Ego should have stopped.
