Spent some time actually using @grvt_io mobile app today instead of just reading threads about it, and one thing genuinely caught me off guard. I opened a BTC perp position expecting the usual behavior I’m used to on most platforms. Normally, once you commit capital to a trade, that portion of your balance basically goes idle. It’s locked into margin and stops doing anything productive. But here’s what felt different, While the position was open, my balance didn’t feel locked away, instead It was still actively working in the background. I didn’t have to split funds, move assets between accounts, or think about allocating capital separately for earning vs trading. Everything just stayed in one place and kept functioning. After a few minutes, it clicked to me what was actually happening. The platform is designed so your collateral isn’t just sitting there, it’s still part of a system where it can generate yield while you trade. That changes the mental model completely. Instead of thinking: How much capital do I leave idle vs how much do I trade with ? It becomes: My capital stays productive regardless. It sounds small, but when you’ve used enough exchanges, you realize how much friction usually comes from constantly managing where funds sit. Here, I didn’t have to think about that at all. That’s probably the first time a trading app made me feel like my capital was actually being used efficiently without extra effort.
