@CryptoKroo @playrust @tarkov Rust is one of the best games ever created, but we’ll never see a studio want to integrate Web3 into it when there’s no need—especially with the Steam Marketplace holding a monopoly over the market.

I'm always disappointed in Web3 gaming. The reason we'll probably never get a great Web3 game is because most of these devs are money-hungry. All we need is a genuinely good game first — then add Web3 features like skins, cosmetics, and progression systems later. The kind of games I crave are things like: R.E.P.O Schedule I Lockdown Protocol These all have that casual-but-competitive online feel. They’re the kind of games you can grind with friends for 6–10 hours a day and never get bored. The day a dev or studio comes in and builds that kind of game — fun first, Web3 second — is the day Web3 gaming actually breaks out. I don’t need a game that launches with a token and a bunch of empty promises. I want a game that's fulfilling on its own, and then maybe builds a thriving secondary skin market on top of that.
