Manual is built for post season play no matter what yr it is. They are a totally different animal come Feb & March. Again history of success matters. They just bring a different level of grit & toughness to playoff time & its awesome to watch.

Manual Vs Rock Island didnt disappoint. An OT thriller that RI won & revenged the loss from 2 yrs ago at the same spot. So many back n forth plays, 1 constant around the action was 2022 @MarieonA12. Scoring, Rebs, Defending, Loose Balls, Blks. Now sets up a rematch vs Metamora

Manual vs Rock Island this evening could be special. Both athletic teams with size & toughness. A rematch of 2 years ago at the same location. Manual absolutely put it to Rock Island that night. Wondering if the tension still remains from that game. Should be a great HS game

Metamora seems to be clicking at the right time of the season. The redbirds have found a rhythm in the scoring department as it seems they have 4-5 guys in double figures every game recently. They are waiting for the winner of Manual vs Rock Island tonight.

Quincy wins at the buzzer & now gets Normal in Sectional final. Quincy a lot of youth & Normal tons of seniors. Quincy unique style that many dont see on the regular. Normal defensive mindset & size is something that isnt seen on the regular either.

Moline was one of our favorites to watch all yr, we always knew there would be a matchup with size that could affect them. Gotta give NC credit. But Moline still is the best passing team & had the best tempo we saw all season. Congrats on a great season! You made it fun for fans!

Normal Community is the most complete team we have seen this year. Size, Athleticism, Guards, Poise, Toughness, & Defends. Could this be @witzigdg best team ever? Would love to see a match up between them & Glenbard West. Been fun to watch this team mature during the season.

0verlooked in HS sports is history of success in playoffs Manual beating PND shocked people, but not Manual. Its expected! Lanphier having an ok year for their standards. Lost to SHG in OT. When you have history of winning you tend to have alot confidence come playoff time!

54-33 NC over SHG. Community is the best team in Central IL. Built to win a lot of different ways, in most games they look like a BIG10 team playing a MidMajor. To much size, strength, athleticism. And everyone knows @witzigdg will always have a great defensive team.

For SHG @ZackHawkinson21 is playing super hard battling his tail off vs Cleveland & Webber. SHG has to find a way to make some shots from the outside.

29-10 at the half. Normal Community having their way right now. NC’s physicality really setting the tone. Couple big dunks by @Zachcleve33 & @WebberJaheem. @Treyway_10 controlling tempo as well. @RomanBraylon continues to impress.

University of New Orleans comes into Central Illinois and gets a steal in 2022 Wing 6’6 @JeremiahTalton. The young man is having a monster senior season for Quincy High.

NC knocks off Moline 60-47. Size & inside presence played a big role in the second half for Normal. Moline missed a lot of layups in key moments in the 2nd half. This will be a great sectional final match up if it plays out that way…

Heading to the 4th quarter 38-33 NC is now up on Moline. 2024 G Braylon Roman with 7 straight pts to end the 3rd for NC. 2023 G @hardingbrock2 continue to show why he is the best guard in Central IL.

Moline is without @RobPulliam1 for the 2nd straight game with ankle injury. But still leads 23-19 at the half. No foul trouble for either team at this point. This is definitely NC pace. This game must get faster paced if Moline wants to pull this off.
