I’ll be blunt: The market won’t rise in a sustainable fashion while the US has 103% tariffs on China. A true trade war between the world’s two largest economies is one of the worst possible scenarios for markets.

Best case: Logic prevails. U.S. & China recognize interdependence, negotiate & de-escalate. Sign new trade agreement. Market rips back to highs. Worst case: Ego prevails. U.S. & China continue to escalate, retaliate, and isolate. Global economy crashes, market heads much lower.

They ridiculed me...my name and even my hairline. 😅 Listen do I ALWAYS get it right? NO. Heck no. I'm right JUST enough to be profitable that's all. $SPY $QQQ gapped up in to PDH (Which I found suspect at best when that high was created off a rumor) but nonetheless proved to be EXIT liquidity for funds/whales IMO. Markets ended down about 3% completely reversed off news that china is NOT going to bend the knee, and 104% tariffs will go in to place tonight 1201AM EST since China missed the deadline. Folks, I don't think the lows are done. Because the real risk of RECESSION is now in play. Where does market price in the risk? Who knows. If a deal can be done with China, then that's where I believe market will bottom out. I THINK $QQQ is headed for 388 at a minimum. $SPY 460.

Seems like a huge risk holding any bullish positions going into tomorrow. The risk of escalation with China if a deal is not met before midnight seems high. I won’t be shocked to see a pretty good sell off into close as people de-risk
