Agreed. However, I believe it’s less about the quality of story and more about the degree of engagement from the west. Most game awards don’t consider the eastern games because the award shows are predominantly judged by western audiences. It’s like me asking why there isn’t more anime/animated works with darker skinned protagonists. (This doesn’t mean black in car that needs to be pointed out) The market decides what gets given a chance to shine. How good something is becomes irrelevant if it doesn’t first appeal to people’s preferences when it comes to notoriety. Interestingly enough, I believe I heard someone say Japan plans to host their own anime awards soon. Likely for similar reasons.

Deacon ain't wrong here btw. Y'all support channels like Saint, ShyGuy, Cosmos, Aruika, etc., way too much. I'll be honest, I don't look for wuwa or GI CCs. But I still come across more wuwa aligned drama channels and barely see genshin aligned drama channels.

I know there are people out there like this... people have gotta play more than just Gacha games... And not only that, just experience other forms of art. The reason there are so many misinterpretations especially for Wuwa is because 98% of Gacha fans have never picked up a book

Hello. I experienced something very upsetting earlier today. I understand that not everyone likes yuri/GL pairings. Not everyone has to enjoy the same ships, and that's perfectly fine. If you dislike a pairing or feel uncomfortable with it, you can simply mute, block, or ignore it. What frustrates me is that I wasn't bothering anyone. I was simply sharing artwork that I spent my time drawing, yet it feels like I was singled out and targeted just because of the pairing I chose to draw. Shortly after posting my artwork, it was marked as sensitive content. I also saw people openly encouraging others to report yuri artists and their artwork. On top of that, some people took my artwork, treated it like free material, ran it through AI, and used it to mock it. I genuinely don't understand this behavior. If you dislike my art or the pairing, that's your choice. But going out of your way to target artists, ridicule their work, and try to silence them crosses a line. What makes it even more frustrating is that some people attack others and then immediately block them, leaving no chance for any discussion or response. I don't expect everyone to like what I draw. I only ask for the same basic respect that every artist deserves. Disliking something is normal. Harassing artists over it is not. I will be sharing screenshots, but I have censored their names and profile information. I am not posting these to target anyone or encourage harassment. I am not asking anyone to attack, harass, or confront them. My intention is simply to show what happened and explain why I am upset about the situation.

@rjpalima10 no, I'm saying that the person you quote is lying because the truth is that they do it too. And lecturing one community using someone else's misinformation (they may not know that their community does this as well to be fair) to attack the community isn't a good idea.
