My kid’s solo is announced and they are walking on stage. Guy directly in front of me- his phone rings- and he ANSWERS!! Talks through half the dance and he isn’t quiet. Am I allowed to kick him in the back of the head?

No food or drinks allowed inside venue. Hope y’all like hangry teens. Mine is terrifying. I’m sneaking in a granola bar.

Debating whether not to pull two kids from the team two weeks before our next comp because the mother is disrespectful, ungrateful monster. I know what I WANT to do but I don’t know what I SHOULD do. UGH. I hate this part of the job. Parents ruin everything 🤬😡😤

@dancestudi0prob @OhanaTribe Is it possible that it fizzles out because they feel undervalued and don’t feel good enough therefore causing their love of dance to die? Just another thought. I’ve seen it firsthand.

@OhanaTribe My experience is that the drama people don’t last and the dedicated people do. The ones who work hard will be the ones who stay til their senior year and end up being successful and the ones who studio hop or complain about placement are the ones who fizzle out and quit anyway.

Dear dance moms, TRUST ME when I say…your SO is not going out of their way to hold your child back. No coach in their right mind would ever intentionally hold back a dancer. We place them where they belong. Trust us. This is our area of expertise & we know our dancers.

Show up and you will be rewarded. Hahahahahahaha! Just kidding.

When you watch an awards session and have to stop yourself from laughing like you’re watching a live comedy show… priceless. What a joke.

SORRY NOT SORRY but I’m so sick & tired of seeing “those” solos winning at every comp when they legit look EXACTLY the same & repeat the same generic moves over & over. No shade to him & I’m sure he’s a doll but let’s give some recognition to some other choreographers too, no? 🙄

@thebustedtoe Just pray they all realize that if they stop paying there won’t be anywhere for their kids to return after this is over. It’s heartbreaking.

In all reality, how do parents expect us to survive another shutdown (that is happening) and request refunds/discounts... PSA: we won’t survive if you stop paying. Ridiculous.
