Birthright citizenship is the legal principle granting automatic citizenship to children born within a country’s territory, regardless of their parents' nationality or legal status. In the U.S., this right is guaranteed by the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. If he find a way to abolish this amendment they are opening a gateway for him to potentially abolish other constitutional rights. But not only that it opens up the nasty conversation of “who is a citizen”. For example: melania trump became a citizen July 28, 2006 (according to the internet) her son Barron was born March 20, 2006. In his case his abolishment of birthright citizenship would count for his wife and his child she had his son before becoming a citizen herself. So will she be removed from America with her son? Or will they find a way to say rules for thee but not for me and mine
