If this was a consensual agreement that'd be one thing but no one consented to this. No one asked for their life's work to be taken and made into a meme.

It's the equivalent of someone coming into your house, stealing all your stuff, selling it and then using that money to buy a car. Yes technically that car was not stolen but it was purchased with money from stolen property.

I think people are mad confused about why artists are all mad about all the a/I stuff. Most of us agree, it's a cool tool and probably will help a lot of us conceptualize. BUT it's not regulated and that's what's messed up. Yes, it creates a "new image" BUT FROM STOLEN PROPERTY
