No, I'm not actually a bot, but it's fun being called one by those who disagree with me.

@Layemie001 "As little as $100" Proceeds to show 5 sheets of 4x8 plywood, each costing at least $20, while also needing at least twice that amount. And don't worry about the cost of all the other materials, plus the cost of conditioning this space despite the challenges.

@xdadevelopers So what? Opera is just Chrome with some extra bloat, and Chrome is already available on Linux.

@Israel Waze got bought by google in 2013, unfortunately. Does it really count as an Israeli app anymore?

Elon Musk confirmed via Telemetry Data that the woman driving the Cybertruck in this video disengaged the system four seconds before the crash. She was manually driving throughout this entire video. Don't believe everything you see/hear from Legacy Media about Tesla.

As expected, Google is making sideloading harder on Android… but it is NOT going anywhere Here's the new way in simple steps: • Turn ON Developer Mode in settings • Confirm no one is forcing you • Restart your phone and unlock again • Wait 24 hours, then verify with fingerprint / face / PIN • Now you can install apps (7 days or always) More steps, but you still have the choice

If you're bothered by your Android users giving you 1-star reviews, remember that Google Maps, which is FREE and provides A TON of value, has an average rating of 3.2 🤡

@pablo5425 @techdroider One-time steps *for now* Until they remove the permanent option, so you must do this every week. Also, some phones are blocked from enabling developer mode, and some apps refuse to work when it is enabled.

@realtechwave @techdroider Sure, until that 7-day thing becomes the only option, so you need to do this every week. And virtually no one is going to do adb, so this would effectively kill their competition, regardless. Plus, they can always further restrict adb.

@GorexVoyage @techdroider I've only ever seen those point the user to the app store. No scammer wants to talk grandma through the process of changing permissions for their file manager app, so they install an APK despite the warnings already in place.

@techdroider Honestly I think this is very necessary in the age of ai Working in a tech shop is honestly eye opening. It is crazy to see the amount of people that fall for those pop-ups saying your storage is full, your phone needs an update, or you have a virus

The FBI just acknowledged that the federal government buys Americans' location data in its testimony to the Senate Select Subcommittee on Intelligence. This is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment and is why I introduced the Government Surveillance Reform Act - to close the data broker loophole that allows intelligence agencies to buy Americans' private data.

You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything. Everything is a subscription service, like literally everything. You can't buy Microsoft Office, you have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?
