We are so sad to share that Kyle Owens, the former UC Riverside standout, has died after a battle with leukemia at just 24-years-old. Kyle — who played in his senior night hours after the devastating diagnosis — was a wonderful young man who will be remembered for his huge smile, resilience and determination. Sending love to the Owens family during this unimaginable time.

Sad to report former Crespi basketball standout Kyle Owens passed away. He was battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia while at UC Riverside. Had a stellar stretch at Montana from 2019-22 before transferring to UCR. Had a big game and even bigger smile. He will be missed. RIP 🕊️
