@The_Kitsman If the Welsh fans get the same choice/stock levels Scotland get from their JD/Adidas deal then it's not hard to see why they are looking for a different supplier

@PeteWishart @SAIABCT It's a nice piece but impressed that you played keyboards at the 83 Hogmanay show for the support band Runrig 3 years before you joined Runrig?!

Today would have been Stuart's 68th birthday. One of Scotland's greatest ever guitarists and songwriters. I had the great privilege of playing alongside him in the first line up of Big Country. Here's an obituary I found that I wrote for the Daily Mail just after his death in 01.

@John_Arab @alexmarr98 Maybe serving up football like last night (and most of this season) is part of a long term plan to quell demand for tickets and solve this issue 😬

@alexmarr98 Contact the club, make your feelings known to them if you haven't done already. I have been trying to push a loyalty scheme (similar to SSC) for a few years, foreseeing the direction of travel in terms of away allocations, and popularity of games.

@scotlandscoeff1 Be interested in your take on the JD deal generally and if this is really in the interests of the sfa to outsource this merchandising - as others on this thread have mentioned the lack of stock and other items is embarrassingly bad.

@PaulJSweeney @ScotRail @GetGlesgaMoving @ABCommuters Appreciate the reply Paul - I was in Berlin last month and they don't have contactless or barriers at all - just a strict system of fine for fare dodgers. I don't see the issue with this particular policy being introduced as it won't impact anyone travelling legitimately

@Deecee1981 @ScotRail @GetGlesgaMoving @ABCommuters I have used the app and it does work well but it is still no substitute for contactless tap in/tap out pay as you go ticketing with a daily/weekly cap. Denmark has recently introduced it nationally.

What if there is a queue for the antiquated paper ticket vending machine, the train is arriving and if you don't get on board you will be late for work or an appointment? ScotRail is still years behind modern mass transit systems with contactless tap in/tap out using bank cards.

ScotRail is set to introduce a new minimum fare in a bid to educate and reduce the number of passengers who choose to travel without first buying a ticket. Fare evasion is estimated to cost Scotland’s Railway more than £11million each year and those who purposely board without a valid ticket will be charged a £10 minimum fare (exemptions apply). @CSO_Analysis @HitTheByline Apologies, misread your first sentence. Not sure I agree that those 2 factors are related tho - simply Kuch is a GK not able to deal with crosses and regardless of JG tactics, that's something he'd encounter a lot in Scotland. He was just in the wrong movie up here.

Nobody has said that United's style of play caused him to make errors, Dougie. However I believe his errors have led to a change in approach from JG in an attempt to get points on the board. That approach does not play to Kuch's strengths. Add in to the mix his errors and clear lack of confidence, this transfer is best for all parties.

When Kucharenko first signed and I went to watch his competitive debut against Strassen, I was actually fairly impressed with him and that continued into the game against Rapid Wien. I knew he would take risks, that would likely cost his team goals. In-turn he would also prevent a lot of goals, which was the case at the start of the season. This started to fade though and the mistakes were no longer being outweighed by the goals prevented. I can’t say I’m shocked at his departure. Dundee Utd don’t need a risk-taking, ball-playing goalkeeper necessarily, just a goalkeeper that is an outright shot-stopper, which Kucharenko isn’t.

🗞️ #DUFC can today confirm the departure of Yevhenii Kucherenko to Greek Super League side Panetolikos FC on a permanent transfer Thank you and all the best, Yevhenii 🧡

Totally agree with you. I can't help but feel his mistakes/sometimes rash decision making impacted how United then tried to play as a team. Start of the season was all fast transitions and attacking football.. that has now turned into trying to stifle opponents which doesn't play to his strengths.

@JakeBremner83 I'd be stunned if a Strain renewal is in the works - been a bit of a disappointment overall even when he's not been injured and he's changed agent recently too.
