The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alleged that the owner of its planned convention venue is under pressure to deny the party access, despite a valid agreement and full payment for the facility. In a statement issued on the eve of its convention, the party said the management of Rainbow Event Centre informed it that it had come under intense pressure from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to cancel the booking.

Wike actually stood before cameras and said the ADC didn't apply to use the Eagle Square for their National Convention. Meanwhile, his office acknowledged receipt of a letter from the same ADC applying for the use of that same Eagle Square. How can a country have shameless LIARS like these in position of authorities from top to bottom?

These are the last kicks of a dying horse. INEC not recognizing the leadership of the ADC is all part of the plan. They know the power of a United Nigeria. The APC only thrived because Asiwaju was able to deceive the North with the Muslim-Muslim ticket. But look around you today. Who is the worst hit? Kashim Shettima’s backyard is the most affected by insecurity. We have lost 10 senior officers of the Army on Tinubu’s watch. There is nothing to hold on to. Not Unity, not the Economy, certainly not security, employment, or reliable electricity. Poverty is on the rise. 63% at the last count. Internet is the poorest it’s been in a decade. Nigerians can barely eat. But somehow, Bola Tinubu has billions to give to his son & a bunch of nonentities in the name of City Boys. No ambulances, but there are buses & G-Wagons for the City Boys. 2025 capital budget were mostly stolen. They used the trillions for their campaigns. Healthcare Ministry received only thirty-six million Naira. That’s not all! He started campaigning from the day of his inauguration. He has been sharing rice since May 29, 2023. The first thing he did was remove all the subsidies. Fuel, electricity, education, & healthcare subsidies GONE! But borrowings ballooned! Debt servicing ballooned! You can barely recognize my once beautiful Nigeria. One thing is sure. “No one is going to intimidate anyone at the polls. Days of ‘monopoly of madness’ are over! 💪✊
