@butters_jon @stickers_bown @CalTwomey That's the point these academies are restricting the best talent available to teams that NEED them by some shit justification how they fall under that category, If his parent were both aussie he still would land on a list lets not act like he only is because of the academy

@butters_jon @stickers_bown @CalTwomey the clubs get to cherry pick the absolute elite talent and have access to them and spit out the kids that arnt good enough ..... So much for being a great pathway system its not fair for all

@stickers_bown @DetroitLemons99 @CalTwomey They offer a pathway and development for indigineous/multicultural players. It helps incentivize them to pursue a career in AFL I ask again, why would clubs do any of this if it meant they DIDN'T get access to that player?

@butters_jon @CalTwomey And secondly yes i want a start up team to have access to all the most elite talent available you have to give that club the best chance for success and clearly thinning out the talent pool isn't doing that or allowing it

@DetroitLemons99 @AFL Nothing I said implied you said otherwise. My point is that Naughton at this stage is still ahead of Darcy. If King, Hogan and Cameron make the list then it’s not Naughton who drops out. Larkey and Georgiades are good key forwards but they’re a tier below the other 6.

@FireballRaider @CalTwomey To make up for not being allowed free access at the best talent for a start up club sounds fair, i dont care what ppl views are on NGA and F/S a start up club should have access to the best young talent no if and or buts you have one chance to get it right at the start
