I’m a bit baffled at how Tekken 8 didn’t capitalize on Tifa who’s a character people have wanted in the game for years. This was easy money for them.

I just don't like the fighting style of Street fighter. I like the more fluid combat mechanics of Tekken personally. Frankly though this is completely Bandai namco's fault. There was an entire campaign last year to try and convince them to bring her on board and instead of they brought on Clive who really has no business being in Tekken. Soul Calibur maybe but not Tekken. This will be a completely self-inflicted fumble if true and I will definitely start maining her on Street Fighter of this is the case.

Real talk though. Capcom getting Tifa in their fighting game rather than Bandai Namco who’s already had 2 Square Enix characters in their games would be a massive fumble. Tifa is gonna move so many units if this turns out to be true.
