#MorningPrayer Lord Jesus, help us to see not merely with the eyes of the world, the eyes that perceive only the surface and the simple; help us rather to see as you see, to see the realities of your kingdom, made visible by your grace, and so reveal your hope to a world in need.

#MorningPrayer Ever remind us, Lord Jesus, to see the infinite value in our children, in all the children of the world, and in all the children of your kingdom; for all are made in your image and your love, all are precious in your sight, all give us opportunity to be a blessing.

#MorningPrayer Let us lose ourselves, Lord Jesus, in the love with which you surround and sustain us; let us shine with its light, that our lives may guide others to its source; fire our souls with the life of your kingdom, that we may encourage one another to embrace your peace.

#MorningPrayer Give us faith, Lord Jesus; faith not in our own power, nor in the material strength we can wield, not in the platforms or personalities of others, but faith in your promises, faith in your kingdom, faith in the hope you share, and the peace you bring, in your love.

#MorningPrayer Give us compassion, Lord Jesus, not only for those who hold different views to us, or those whom we think should suffer your judgement, but also for ourselves; we are not perfect. and yet are offered your forgiveness and healing, so help us offer your peace to all.

#MorningPrayer On this Feast of St Joseph, Lord Jesus, be with all who accept and bear responsibility in loco parentis for children not their own. May your love fill them, inspiring a deep love to flourish in their lives, and to bear fruit in the lives of all for whom they care.

#MorningPrayer Fill us, Lord Jesus, fill our hearts and minds, our souls and spirits, with the fullness of your law of love; may our lives shine with the light of your grace, that our way may be illumined and our course set by the compass of your kingdom, as we pursue your peace.

#MorningPrayer You offer us a share, Lord Jesus, in the covenant made by your blood, in the power of your love. Grant us the grace to live the life to which you call us, that we may truly be a people built as your sanctuary on earth, shining the light of your love in every place.

#MorningPrayer You journey with us, Lord Jesus, in all we do, whether our steps take us to familiar places or lead us into new territory we are yet to explore. Whatever this day may bring, and whatever we encounter, may we see with your eyes of love and walk in your way of peace.

#MorningPrayer By your grace, Lord, we are created; we are what you have made us, bearers of your image that others may feel the pulse of your love in us, flowing through us, reaching others near and far. May our lives display your likeness; help us follow your call to live love.

#MorningPrayer Keep our focus, Lord Jesus, not on what we have built for ourselves, nor even on what we have built to honour you, but on what you have built among us in your love; dwelling with us, living our life, infusing our hearts and your community with your grace and mercy.

#MorningPrayer Let us love you, Lord our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with all that we are; inspire us to reveal that love in our love for one another, neighbours near and far, friend or stranger, that your kingdom may be revealed in the life we live and the choices we make.

#MorningPrayer Lord Jesus, King of righteousness and King of peace, you adopt us into your family and charge us with your call to offer ourselves, all that we are, and all that we have, to reveal your kingdom to the world. Inspire us, in actions and attitudes, to share your love.

#MorningPrayer Fill us with confidence, Lord Jesus, in the assurance of your promises to us, your welcome of us, your love for us, and your call upon us. May we know ourselves to be adopted into your family, heirs of your covenant, citizens of your kingdom, as we follow your way.

#MorningPrayer Nourish us, Lord Jesus, in your love; may we be good soil in which the seed of your gospel may take root and grow. May our lives become a nursery for knowledge of you, a greenhouse for your grace, a vineyard for the values of your kingdom, a pasture for your peace.

#MorningPrayer Lord Jesus, you lived a human life, emptying yourself and humbling yourself to know our needs and weaknesses. In your love, you offer us understanding born of experience and solidarity. May we offer that same understanding and love, with compassion, to one another.

#MorningPrayer Lord Jesus, be with all who are suffering and being made to suffer, through hardship or poverty, isolation or loneliness, or through the actions of others in their greed, fear or selfishness. Rouse us to enfold them in the love with which you enfold and console us.
