Legitimate question: is Jake Meyers hurt? Did he fall out of favor over the course of 2 weeks? He's played great defense and made tons of quality contact early on this year. I'm genuinely confused about why he's been benched.

@Gabby_Brauner27 Could be a name thing too. Certainly, there could be a female component. I introduce myself to all adults as Dr. Tomesch. Many people will subsequently call me Alex after looking at my badge. I assume it's because they forgot how to pronounce my last name.

What do you do when a patient/family looks at your ID and calls you by your first name after introducing yourself as Dr.______? Idk if it’s a resident thing or a female thing but it’s happened a lot and I usually just ignore it Idk if that’s the right thing 🫣

The Astros' offense is plenty good enough for them to win the World Series. Their bullpen, which has been terrific in August, is certainly good enough. They just need to get their starting pitching back on track.
