@AnthonyAloisi Agree, I’m more just saying that the performers of the past are just not doing it at the level people expected right now. Still early and more than enough time to get right.

A lot of these guys popping up are not really pop-up guys, most of them have been dudes. The July draft has really put the industry behind the 8-ball of what real talent is and it’s allowing poor eval entities like PG and PBR to be pushing the wrong kids early.

@NoahB77_ If it’s thumb surgery it’s definitely not week to week. I would even think 7 weeks may be on the light side of thinking if it’s a break that requires surgery.

Draft board update coming soon. This is going to be a weird draft. Guys with track record not really performing. Guys with no track record who have come out of nowhere. Both, high school and college. The smart teams will still go after guys with track record of performance in my opinion. One year wonders are dangerous. #theanalyst⚗️🧪

I’ve never seen so much variety between publications in terms of the draft. Most of it feels like “I have no idea what’s going on so let’s put this guy here”. No one has figured out the top because none of them are performing. And then we are jolting guys to the top with zero track record because they are throwing or hitting well against some low level mid major competition. Knee jerk reactions are dangerous one way or the other. If guys have done it at a high level before good chance they do it again and if they haven’t done it before can we at least wait until they face semi decent competition before we anoint them? #theanalyst⚗️🧪

Been hearing a lot of team buzz recently on Steele Hall. Had him #83 on my initial board but from what I’ve heard of late, he’s being grouped in with the other Tier 1 prep SS’s (Carlson, Willits, Becker) which means a probable bump into the T50 range in my next release. Really high on Becker’s athleticism but Hall is super freaky from a twitch/speed standpoint. Needle mover HR here by Enis. Turns around a 95 mph FB from Harmon. Belongs with tier 1 of best prep athletes in the country. I think the bat has been severely underrated by the industry for a while. I had him on our initial T100 board at #99 and I’m tempted to raise him in the next release. Not the first time I’ve seen him put together strong hacks off legit comp and he consistently gets to high level impact. Would be something if he gets to Duke. #theanalyst⚗️🧪
