!!FINISHED 10th!! at Pro Tour Lorwyn in Richmond!! 10th is my current best PT finish and marks my 3rd PT top 16 though it feels slightly bittersweet as I did not make top 8 on tie-breakers and also punted the match for top 8. I went 9-1 with UB Kaito in Standard which was an insane choice for this tournament and will likely be even better in the upcoming weekends though I felt little underprepared for limited and went only 3-3. The set getting out on tuesday a week before the PT is just not enough time with full-time work/standard preparation and travelling. Fortunately they give away qualifications based on a record and not placement so I am currently qualified for the upcoming Pro Tours AAAND THE !!MTG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!! Really happy to be back and I will try to make the most out of it!! :))

After starting PTECL with 2 wins in draft, I thought that maybe I can finally make it day 2. But alas, I lost every single match after that. In the end, Sultai Reanimator was the worst choice and I was not skilled enough to maneuver a couple of wins. Will come back better! 🏆

@ddanc666 I only found Ghost Vacuums to be somewhat useful against Vivi. So I think one plus Scrapshooters are enough. The second Vacuum is better suited for actual graveyard decks like Yuna overlords and reanimate decks which were absent in the tournament.

@DrawSoGood Are you only ever bringing in 1 of the 2 Ghost Vacuums? I might be misinterpreting the chart.

If anyone is interested, here is simple sideboard guide I prepared after the metagame breakdown for the AC9 was released. This is by no means perfect but I hope this would be enough to at least encourage you to try out the deck without feeling lost. Good luck! 🏆

After failing to day 2 at the PT, I came out feeling even more motivated to play competitive magic. The entire experience of being in a testing house felt like a retreat with a payoff. A couple of qualifier weekends since and I made a step forward qualifying for Arena Champ 9.

So PT Aetherdrift happened about over a month ago. I was not able to post anything as I have been too busy living in to moment so to speak. I went 3-5 at PT. 2-1 in Draft and 1-4 in Standard. I failed to day 2 but I was happy and fired up. Shout out to Team Bus Stop! MAXSPEED! 🏎️

Arena Championship 7 is in the books and I ended my run as a quarterfinalist. I even manage to win a feature match. All the time, dedication, and effort put it in earned me a Pro Tour invite for PT: Aetherdrift and $10,000 USD. Incredibly proud and happy of this achievement!
