I have some really exciting news to share… Just over two years ago, I began working with a talented writer called Billie Swann. Since then, we’ve worked side by side on more than one book, shaping stories, testing them, pulling them apart, and putting them back together again. At a certain point, Billie made a brave decision. Rather than waiting for permission from the publishing industry, she chose to step forward and bring her story into the world. She asked me to help her do that, and together we’ve taken her very first book from bare bones to polished diamond. And now… it’s time. This evening, we’ll be revealing the cover of her debut women’s fiction novel. If you’ve loved the emotional depth, romantic threads, and heart-led storytelling in my own books, and you’re looking for another author to trust with that same kind of reading experience, then Billie is very much one to watch. Two deadly train crashes in one week - last nights one on the line my daughter takes to and from college.. my heart goes out to those affected 😔

Tomorrow is my last day teaching 3 days at an international school here in Barcelona - kids from 9-11 years old I'm a little sad its the last day - it's been so much fun and so rewarding. Here's hoping they will invite me back again.

I can't shift my heavy heart today, seeing the news of the train crash down south.. That train was the one my husband would catch every single Sunday to go to work in Madrid when we lived in Andalucia. The fear that gripped my chest when I heard - and I knew he wasn't on it, he was on the sofa next to me... My anxiety had a field day with it in bed last night... My heart goes out to anyone affected. Truly. And yes, I'm holding him just a little closer today... thankful and grateful. #Andalusia #Traincollision

Well - that was fun! This was my first day (of three) teaching workshops to kids at the international school. It went even better than I expected, the kids were so engaged, and truly a joy to spend time with. Today we discussed Social Media, Influence, and how the words we use matter. Well well well... I mean - Anyone surprised?

I have just realised - I only have two more school runs to do (this afternoon and tomorrow morning - as husband does the afternoons on a Friday) - and then I have TWO WEEKS OFF SCHOOL RUNS! Trust me when I say, when you live in a forest, the school run is exhausting! I might still be at 'work' over Christmas, but at least I won't be up at 6am every day! 🤣🤣
