¡Lo conseguimos! Las sinergias entre las agendas de Biodiversidad y Cambio Climático, son ahora una realidad. Today is nature and culture summit @UNBiodiversity @COP16Oficial and I was honoured to do the closing panel on accessing finance for #IndigenousPeoples as the chair of the @UN4Indigenous. Finance should be directed to the communities on the ground that are acting.

The intersection of health and nature-based solutions (NbS) offers a promising pathway to concurrently address public health, biodiversity, and climate challenges. As part of the official CBD COP 16 Programme, WHO and IUCN launched a joint Nature-based Solutions for Health report - providing evidence-based guidance and practical recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders. The report was developed through the Friends of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (FEBA) network and made possible with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).
