Edinburgh Symphony

Another great, if challenging rehearsal, with fantastic cake!! Next week - second two songs in the Ravel, last movement of Rimsky-Korsakov and maybe some of the ballet. I think! Get practising!!!

Good rehearsal this evening - with a clear message that we must all do more listening on YouTube! Next week we will be rehearsing the Sheherazades - not sure why they're spelt differently...

Great rehearsal tonight, in which we explored the concept of homeopathic playing. Very useful for those quieter moments... A reminder - no rehearsal next week, & we're back on Wed 23rd to rehearse the last movement of the symphony and the Grieg (maybe Kodály if time)

WHAT a joyous #ChineseNewYear celebration last night, with @TheEdSingers and @Gordon_Dancers, a pipe band and some very wonderful Chinese musicians, lifting the roof of the @theusherhall! Amazing to have been part of it 🐷❤️
