I'm sick of it. Movie studios think they can get away with changing literally ANYTHING from the source material these days. First they turned Silver Surfer into a girl, and now they cast my childhood hero Zelda as a girl. Do they have to make everyone into women? ALL of us TRUE GAMERS know what the REAL Zelda looks like.

I am around “normal” undergraduate students all day (both lw and rw) and almost all of them know every niche internet reference, meme, and personality… I am convinced that everyone born before ~1995 lacks a theory of mind for Gen Z, they’re the first settlers of the digital global village and everything good or bad about them is downstream of this.
