@KizmaHusky Take it from me. I found furry a decade ago, and I put in the hard work to throw myself out there at the time, show up repeatedly at furry meetings, make friends even though I'm a wallflower. It's hard to be social when everyone has someone. But someone will notice you!

@sundaekids_ Growing up poor, I had birthdays with classmates and family, but over time it just became a mental burden on me because I didn't want people to be forced to spend time and money on me. At some point in my teens and onward, I didn't want my birthday celebrated any more.

I have reported on the issues with unlicensed food vendors for years. Now, I am vindicated on my concerns: out of 88 inspections there were 60 health code violations. We found warm, moldy bacon-wrapped hotdogs in boxes on the sidewalk and a source told us of hotdogs kept in home bathtubs.

San Francisco's latest law could put food vendors out of business “Data team found out of 88 inspections of mobile food vendors in 2025, there were 60 health violations” The new requirements passed means street vendors must - Have a built-in handwashing station - No more home cooking - Vendors must rent time and space in approved kitchens for prep work - Carts must meet state and local health codes for sanitation, meaning they must proper sinks, temperature controls, overhead protection and access to restrooms One Spanish street vendor interviewed says she’s been operating for 14 years without any of these requirements
