The proposed bill giving former Vice Presidents, Justices etc, lifetime benefits is yet another example of Zambia's educated ruling elites' propensity for self-serving behavior.
All of these people are paid full salaries while they serve. They aren't Monarchs, they are employees

Non essential workers telling essential workers they don’t need holidays lol It’s people with pivotal jobs out here. You think network engineers, our friends in banks, teachers, customer service reps etc don’t welcome these breaks after dealing with issues daily? Let people rest.
