A friend of mine in the UK is seriously confused. He opened an account on X just to share his opinions. Got the blue tick. Just vibes. Just cruise. From "let me tweet for fun", he got addicted. 2 months in, he’s already qualified for monetization. Now here’s the real problem. He’s on a Tier 2 sponsorship visa. And suddenly… this "fun" isn’t just fun anymore. He’s worried that the moment he creates a Stripe account and activates ad revenue, he might be breaching his visa conditions. Not just that, this one decision could come back years later and cost him his ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) Imagine building something legit, then losing your future over it. So now he’s stuck on whether to activate his X ad revenue or not. What would you advise him? Honest opinions.

Unpopular opinion: If you’ve been in tech for up to 5 years and you’ve never earned $5K in a month, you have no business in tech. Go and start a farm or something. It’s time to pack it up.

No issues with you holding onto WordPress; everyone's hitting it big in whatever domain, but confidently stating something wrong shows it’s all fabricated or you don’t know what you're talking about.
