@databykaka Yes exactly 😄 Python makes that easier. With pandas you can clean inconsistent formatting and also change data types (like converting strings to datetime, integers, etc). That’s one thing I really liked while working on my recent project.

Been inactive on my socials for roughly 2 months, yet project deals both aligned and not still find their way to me. In that time, I’ve even referred some to others I couldn’t take on. I wore so many hats during this period, working hand in hand with decision makers to provide solutions tailored to their needs. Also stepped in as an assistant to a Salesforce project manager, while taking on mini gigs I was referred to and reached out to. Been working with clients based in Nigeria and outside. I took on things I didn’t have so much experience in and still delivered. Q1, I planned to upskill but couldn’t fully do that while handling all this. Now imagine what happens when I 10x this.🥹 I make it a habit to ask clients how they found me, one simply said: “I was looking for a Power BI developer, searched on X, saw your post, saw someone recreate your project, and reached out.” Consistency builds visibility, even when you’re not actively posting. I’ve built a brand for myself here. Now I’m done with all projects. Time to lock in properly for Q2. I’m spending this quarter upskilling and trying something different. Happy new month.❤️

I finally understand what people mean when they say: “Once you use Python for data analysis, you won’t go back." 😅 For the past two days, I cleaned and analyzed 5M+ rows for my Google capstone project, and yeah, I get it now. My next step is to visualize the insight I found.

There were moments I just sat there staring at the screen, wondering why my code wasn't running or why the output looked weird. 😅 Honestly? Those 'failed' moments taught me more than any 10-hour tutorial ever could. They forced me to understand the why, not just the how.

One thing this project really taught me is that the size of your data can completely change your approach. Excel vs Python became a very real decision 😅

@TheBayoHub First thing I do when I open a new dataset is, I try to understand the dataset. I look at what each column represents and what the data is actually trying to tell me before I carry out any data cleaning.

HALO | CAREER SPECIALIST
Just been invited to speak at a global tech event in United Kingdom 🥳 What a big way to end Q1 🎉 The girl who used earn 8,000 naira as a teacher to this 🥹, the girl who started working remotely earning 25,000 naira, who battled with an illness for a year to thissssssss, i was in and out of the hospital all through 2024 - 2025, i used to cry so hard before going to the hospital because i knew what i was going to face there, I felt so alone, i endured so much pain, i almost gave up, infact, i gave up, i asked God to take me, i was done, i was tired, the pain was too much and yet i was still working, every money I made went to my treatment, I remember most of my friends supporting me for treatment, and now i’m the girl who has landed thousands of people jobs, written over 2,000 resumes, recruited for companies, worked as an HR and now to talking to thousands of people. People are going to hear me speak, People are going to know me all because i didn’t give up. When I started positioning people for jobs, I did it because I didn’t have anyone to put me through, I was doing everything and anything, i worked as a teacher, a sales representative, a social media manager, a content writer, a graphic designer, I took on ushering and face modeling jobs, I even started WhatsApp ads, I had over 40k contacts, I was doing everything and anything to leave my situation, I didn’t want it to be like that for others That’s why I started “Job updates by halo”, many of you know I started with this name. Somehow, people started following me here because of that It can only get better from here 🥳 Glory be to God 🥹🥳🥳 If you stick with me, I’ll teach you everything I know, everything I post is from real experience, what worked for me and what didn’t. Isn’t it cool to have someone who knows all the tricks from the job hunting side and hiring side? Someone who’ll walk you through? Yes, that’s HALO !!!!

Volunteering isn’t “free work” it’s a shortcut to experience, visibility, and real opportunities. A lot of people land their first role through it. I’ll be sharing some solid volunteer openings soon Turn on my notifications so you don’t miss out 🔔

Before you start working on any data, pause. Ask yourself: 1. What is happening? 2. Why is it happening? 3. Why does it matter? 4. What should we do??
