The Ministry of Health cautions all contracted healthcare facilities against charging teachers or demanding co-payments for services covered under the Social Health Authority (SHA), as this violates their contractual obligations. Any facility found engaging in such practices risks immediate suspension. Moreover, we have identified cases of inflated outpatient claims, some as high as KSh 187,000, which point to clear fraud and abuse of the system. We will not tolerate the misuse of public resources meant to safeguard teachers' health. These funds belong to teachers and we are committed to protecting them. Teachers are urged to remain vigilant and report any irregular charges, as we work together to uphold accountability and ensure they receive their full benefits.

Wait. Two days ago, the Treasury took over the financial and governance oversight roles at the Kenya Seed Company and the Agricultural Finance Corporation, which were fully under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture. To my fellow Anti GMO and Anti privatization comrades, there's a pattern here. Why did the killer regime appeal the High Court ruling which declared the Seeds and Plants Varieties Act unconstitutional? An act which is criminalizing indigenous seeds?
Even yesterday morning, The treasury via a gazette notice, despite an ongoing petition challenging the privatization of KPC in court, announced that KPC was removed from the list of state parastatals, only for Museveni to say in the 'Africa We Destroy Summit', how he has bought 50% of KPC. William Ruto is deliberately auctioning our birthright for a bowl of soup.
