Expectations have been destroying games lately. Highguard was ok at launch and was pretty good after updates, but it was expected to be the next big multiplayer game, so compared to those expectations it was basically trash. Crimson Desert I literally saw some saying would be the best video game ever made, the elder scrolls 6 of our dreams, some called their ex wife and said honey you can come back with the kids, crimson desert is here!!! It is just a pretty good game that could be great with some patches, so compared to those expectations of course it sucks. We gotta just play games for what they are. I remember liking Clair Obscur official posts before release and the posts would have like 63 likes, people actually played that game for what it was, and saw how good it is, because it had no expectations like this.
