@FPLShawcus Christian Taylor not being the WR holder doesn’t reduce his greatness. Greatness is dominance, consistency, and titles, not just records. His World titles and Olympic golds speak for him. Edwards' dominance was not in any way close to Taylor's. Taylor is the true GOAT.

@Ramma_____ No I agree with that, especially the 1990 version, he was well past it by that stage. I just thought your list was stating that these players wouldn’t perform in the modern game, when the best versions of some/most of them, probably would. Just my opinion though bud.

@FPLShawcus Fair point, i only seen Shilton from 86 onwards as per the tweet & that version of him would struggle in the modern game for reasons already stated

@Ramma_____ Fair enough. I don’t agree with who you’ve left out but it’s all opinions. For example, when Forest win the league and 2 European cups in the late 70s, Shilton was the best keeper in the world in my opinion. Could we say the same about Pickford at any stage of his career?
