Sorry for the slight crashing but im so tired of hearing it.
The Fandom is MASSIVE.
There are thousands of local events, small group events, lil cons and medium cons. Why not go to those? Go to a furmeet in the state over from yo and make it a weekend trip?

We have a similar thing here in arkansas I help put on, we host meetup 3x a year, and supplement with game nights, picnics, skateboarding nights etc!

@FallApollo I am glad we have @MNFurs in my neck of the woods. Events all year long. Picnics, holiday party, fursuit walks, all sorts of other community driven things.
Not to mention all the small group things fluffs are putting on themselves.

@Neybulot Coordinate! I go on a big camping trip once a year with my large freind group, some of whom drive 22+ hours! Its 100% doable ya just got to take initiative and plan!

Some of The best moments of my life have been at my local furmeet, not at a giant con. And i personally think the overhyped of most big cons is insane.
