Visited the Valley of the Fallen near Madrid—a solemn place of prayer, crowned by the largest Cross in the world and a basilica carved into the rock. With the Benedictine monks, we prayed for peace, for the Church, for Spain, for reconciliation.
Even as some try to erase its meaning, the power of the Cross remains—unshaken, victorious, always leading to the Resurrection.
Grateful for the young Spanish Catholics who brought me—witnesses of a Church that stands tall.

Joyous celebration of Easter Sunday Mass at @StThomasUniv with the conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation and acceptance to the reception of the Eucharist. An evening of grace, where our young people reaffirmed their baptismal calling to be witnesses of the Risen Lord!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Happy to celebrate the Easter Vigil together with @CatholicMiami Abp @ThomasWenski and our @StThomasUniv delegation. We were happy to have Leyania, our STU catechumen, baptized, confirmed, and receive the Eucharist.

Happy Easter from @StThomasUniv in @CatholicMiami! May the light and life of the Risen Lord fill you with his joy and hope! Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed!

Adoramus te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi; quia per sanctam Crucem tuam redemisti mundi. / We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

Good Friday early morning training. Stay strong in God’s love. Jacked and holy. Fit for the Kingdom. For “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8) “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (Jn 15:13)

Holy Thursday prayer at the Gym: Lord, as I prepare for my physical endeavors at the gym, beginning the Paschal Triduum of your Passion, Death, and Resurrection, I offer up my efforts to you. Grant me strength and perseverance in body, mind, and spirit. May this workout be a reflection of my sharing in your passion and so reveal in me your saving power. Amen.

Today we begin the three days of the Sacred Paschal Triduum, the three holiest days of the year: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. They celebrate the Paschal Mystery of our Lord Jesus Christ, the central mysteries of our faith, both the Passion, his suffering and death, and the Resurrection, his glorious triumph over sin and the grave.
Let us unite ourselves to Christ in his loving Passion for us so we will be able to join in the joy of his Resurrection! Blessed Triduum!

Happy to have my @StThomasUniv Campus Ministry team represent STU at the 2026 @CatholicMiami Chrism Mass with Archbishop @ThomasWenski. God bless! Go bobcats!

Grateful to concelebrate today the @CatholicMiami Chrism Mass with Archbishop @ThomasWenski, one of the most powerful moments of the year for us as priests. At this Mass, we renew our priestly promises made on the day of our ordination, our “yes” to Christ, spoken again with conviction.
The bishop blesses and consecrates the holy oils: the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Sacred Chrism: signs of healing, new life, and consecration that will touch lives in every parish.
Please pray for all of us priests!

Offering oneself united to Christ’s passion involves living as a “living sacrifice” by embracing suffering and service for God’s glory. This Holy Week, offer up your training, in body, mind, and spirit. For “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12:1).

English

“Since the beginning of Lent until now we have prepared our hearts by penance and charitable works. Today we gather together to herald with the whole Church the beginning of the celebration of our Lord’s Paschal Mystery, that is to say, of his Passion and Resurrection. For it was to accomplish this mystery that he entered his own city of Jerusalem.
Therefore, with all faith and devotion, let us commemorate the Lord’s entry into the city for our salvation, following in his footsteps, so that, being made by his grace partakers of the Cross, we may have a share also in his Resurrection and in his life.” — Intoduction to Palm Sunday Mass at @StThomasUniv

English

“O God, who willed that, when your Son was lifted high on the Cross, his Mother should stand close by and share his suffering, grant that your Church, participating with the Virgin Mary in the Passion of Christ, may merit a share in his Resurrection.”
