@nk0x__ @BathTunes @YetiMoose @sporadica There is no argument really, Turks changed the name of country Turkey to Türkiye. USA did not changed their name, ABD is just the local translation for Turkish. You can use Turkey as a Türkiye's variant for your own, which is perfectly fine. It's just drama over nothing.

@sarahtexe ... It might be... tied to your account pic maybe?🤔 And what kind of retarded logic is that? Russia a Christian nation wages war like your people consume soda. World Wars started between Christian nations, killed ungodly amount of people. Think. Sarah. Think.

'DR.STONE' Manga Artist Boichi shared his thoughts on readers who say they cannot afford manga, discussing the financial struggles of both fans and creators while highlighting issues of access and pricing "Most Japanese readers do not have much money either. Most Japanese mangaka do not have much money. Most aspiring manga artists do not have much money." "Many readers carefully save a small allowance to buy a single tankōbon volume." "They do it because they want to support creators. They do it because they want manga to continue existing. They do it because if nobody pays, manga cannot continue to be made." "Manga did not become successful because Japan was rich. Manga grew during the 1950s, when Japan was still a very poor country." "It grew because people chose to buy manga. Because they valued it. Because they believed it was worth supporting." "Of course, there are exceptions. There are always exceptions. Some people genuinely face circumstances far more difficult than most of us can imagine. I do not want to dismiss those realities." "I began my career as a poor mangaka in a country that was still poor. I care deeply about people who struggle financially. I am on their side." "Many creators sacrificed comforts in order to draw manga." "The real problem is not whether people have money to buy manga. The real problem is that many people have no practical way to buy it." "Officially licensed foreign editions are often far too expensive for readers around the world. I believe that is a genuine problem."

Roy Keane on Turkey losing 2-0 to Australia national soccer team in their World Cup opener: 🗣️ “I don't want to hear excuses. Before the match, everyone was talking about Turkey as if the three points were already in the bag. Well, football doesn't care about predictions. Australia looked like a team playing for their lives. Turkey looked like a team waiting for something to happen. That's the difference. One side competed, the other side expected. What annoys me most is the attitude. You can forgive mistakes. You can forgive missed chances. But you cannot forgive a lack of urgency at a World Cup. Australia won the physical battle, the mental battle, and in key moments they won the football battle too. That's embarrassing if you're Turkey because they were supposed to be the team making the statement tonight. Some players will look at the tactics, some will blame luck, and some will point fingers elsewhere. Nonsense. Start by looking in the mirror. World Cups are not won by talent alone. The harsh reality is this: Australia arrived believing they could win. Turkey arrived believing they should win. One mindset creates history. The other creates headlines like this.”

@KakapoCalypse I actually did that few times, game was good, played a lot but they either messed it, left unfinished or just couldn't finalize its potential. To me review is a service to my fellow gamers, still, I would genuinely wish we had a third vote option like "mid" or "meh" kind.

I will never understand the players that put a "not recommended" for an indie game they bought for under $10 and played for over 100 hours...

Octopath Traveler 0 will be the final game I play on Steam. After that, I'm going to terminate my account & just play everything on my Switch 2 or on the Xbox app. Thanks for the memories, but I've had enough.

The kebab man actually cares. One time, our friend group skipped our weekly meetup at our local kebab place because a family member of one of our friends had passed away. When the kebab man noticed we weren’t there, he called to check if everything was okay. After hearing the news, he sent over several large trays of kebabs to the house of mourning. It’s a custom to provide food for visitors, and having close ones help with that lets the family focus on grieving without worrying about feeding everyone. We're still going there, kebab uncle always comes to ask if everything is good, chat with us for few minutes and gives us a discount and send us our way.

Darling, pot meet kettle. Go type “Kurdish month names origins” into Google or any AI. You’ll get the exact same story... Kanûna paşîn, Sibat, Adar, Nîsan, Hezîran, Tîrmeh, etc. straight from Syriac/Aramaic, Arabic, and Persian roots. Only a handful (like Gulan) have clearer native Iranian flavor. That’s not “theft,” it’s called living next to each other for millennia. Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Persians, we’ve all been swapping words, customs, and recipes since forever. Ancient nations do that. Read a book on historical linguistics instead of farming outrage online. You’re human, not a vulture scavenging for conflict.

📍Every major conflict that has defined Anatolia and the eastern Mediterranean since 1920 flows directly from the decision to abandon the treaty of Sevres. One of the greatest strategic failures of the twentieth century. The Treaty of Sevres (1920), if implemented, would have decisively resolved Anatolia’s root tensions and delivered provided long-term regional clarity, minority security and lasting stability, ending years of forced coexistence and violence. The abandonment of Sevres was not a diplomatic setback - It was a century of bloodshed authorised in advance. The destruction of Smyrna. The Cyprus occupation. The Kurdish wars. The endless Aegean disputes. Each one a direct invoice for abandoning Sevres. ‼️ Instead of a multi-ethnic empire held together by force, Sevres offered stable nation-states built on demographic reality-confronting the issues that would define the next hundred years: unresolved nationalisms, contested frontiers, and unpunished atrocities. ‼️The alternative-the unitary Turkish Republic -delivered a century of forced assimilation, repeated Kurdish uprisings, the denial of the Armenian Genocide, the eradication of Anatolia’s remaining Christian communities, and enduring territorial disputes with every neighbour. ❌The Sevres treaty would have formalized Greek-Turkish boundaries in Thrace and Western Anatolia, removing the tensions that still poison the Aegean today. ❌Sevres would have granted Kurdish autonomy, averting the decades-long Kurdish conflict that has claimed tens of thousands of lives and destabilised the region. ❌It would have secured an Armenian state, closing the genocide’s open wound before denial became state policy. ❌It would have internationalized the Bosporus Straits, eliminating a perennial flashpoint for unilateral control, promoting secure maritime commerce for decades. 🔺Sevres was the only framework that could have worked. The region has been paying the price for its abandonment ever since.

Bağımsız geliştiriciler Valve'a tekelcilik davası açtı ve mahkemeye sunulan şirket içi e-postalar oldukça çarpıcı şeyler ortaya koyuyor. Mahkeme hala devam ediyor.
