Farley Literary Festival

So our 2nd festival comes to a close! Thank you to all our wonderful speakers & audiences who, over 6 packed nights, have enjoyed 11 writers, 7 events & 1 quiz! Money raised will help with Farley Church & support the work of Morning Star, working for the benefit of local homeless

Haven't had chance yet to say what a brilliant time I had at @FlitFest on Wednesday night, and what great fun @TarnRichardson and @EdDavey1 were. Enjoying talking all things bookish, story grammar, and Football Manager guys. Same again next year? ❤️

The final evening of @FlitFest is unfortunate over 😥 The finale featured the wonderful @laurajm8. The was a lot of discussion about #FriendsRequest (thankfully no spoilers!) And Laura's new book #ThreeLittleLies.

Really enjoyed talking to everyone at @FlitFest last week about #TheOrchidHunter! Next up is @SLBotanicalInst this coming Thursday 6th (7pm onwards if interested!)

A wonderful closing literary talk this evening, with @laurajm8 enthralling about her road to publication, her novels and what's next for her and her fans!

We had prepared for about 10 attendees but the final total of people interested in our Self-Publishing event was significantly higher! Such a great night, MCed by @TarnRichardson but most definitely made by our brilliant speakers and wonderfully engaging audience.

2 sell out events at @FlitFest this evening. In the church, @LeifBersweden captivated with his magnificent talk about #orchids & his wonderful book THE ORCHID HUNTER. Whilst in the hall, @nickwarren #SimonFairfax & #SarahDouglasPennington inspired & informed about #SelfPublishing

In Farley Church this evening @LeifBersweden, author of WINTER TREES and THE ORCHID HUNTER, shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards, will be talking orchids, botany and finding wonder in the wild. Tickets available on the door.
