I feel like after all the drama in the Álvarez saga, even people who weren’t fully convinced or had doubts about the signing now want it even more, just to prove a point and “win the war” against Atlético. Personally, I wasn’t against the signing, but I was open to alternatives and didn’t really expect it to happen. Now though? I need it done at all costs. After everything Atlético de Madrid have posted around it, it would be generational if it actually gets over the line.
