The Club has been much saddened to learn of the death today of David Wright, (seen here right) following a short illness. David was a well respected former @snbcc cricket secretary & secretary of the @lpoolcomp. The Club flag is flying at half mast in his honour. RIP David.

@GS_Ranger evening Graham, can you give your family our message regarding the passing of your father? We are thinking of you all and stay strong. He was a really good coach from 2000s until he was stopped due to being the chairman of @SNBCC - he was a proper traditional coach!

@GS_Ranger Really sorry to hear that. Had amazing experiences with Ken coming and supporting Lancashire U19 when I was the coach. All thought are with you and with your family.

Very sad to report that Dad died this morning after a long and brave fight with ill-health. Mum was with him, and he wasn't in pain. We're all very upset but will reflect on his life with great love and pride.

The club are saddened to announce the passing of Gerry Byrom at the age of 86. Former President, chairman & player. Gerry was a Formby legend both on and off the pitch. The thoughts of everybody are with Daisy, Ross and the Byrom family. A detailed tribute will follow.
