a year ago today i woke up in a ditch covered in my own blood after totaling my car and going thru the windshield i wound up there because i was severely depressed and self-destructing and making poor choices because i was searching for any way possible to not feel the things i was feeling and make what was going on in my head finally stop i wish i could say it was a giant wake up call and i changed my life for the better right then but truthfully most of this last year wasnt all too different, if not worse it wasnt until pretty recently that someone i very much respect pointed out to me what they were observing and that they were actually genuinely worried about me that i finally realized what was going on and wanted to change it, up until then nobody really said anything so i thought i was invincible for lack of a better term so while its just the beginning i really do hope and think that this next year will be alot better, and, if you have worried about me in that time, i am sorry. but here’s to changing it also, if you see any of your friends going thru some shit, reach out and be honest with them, bc sometimes thats all it takes
