Another intense but successful field day! 🌱🌊 Sampled the first time point of the ‘big’ experiment. 840 tubes were filled, 360 #seagrass plants were clipped and bagged, and lots of snacks were eaten. Many thanks again to @katie_erick, @LDAW12 and Julia Hammans! 🌊

Our new experiment is out at @SydneyMarine! Previously we found variation in #sargassum frond size controlled it’s value as predation refuge for epifauna. Now we’re testing for the universality of this relationship using 3D printed algae mimics @GribbenLab @UNSWScience @unswcmsi
