I first heard Serkis talk about Animal Farm on a podcast in 2012. It was going to be mo-cap with realistic VFX. Serkis thought it may be his opus. He just had to secure funding.
I say this not in mockery but in terms of how the bastards can grind you down with compromises.

the “how are people supposed to watch movies from 30+ years” ago thing, after age 12 or so, just doesn’t make sense to me. you actively seek them out because you’re curious about them and want to watch them. idk. if you can’t do that, why would you care about movies at all?

@GrooseLegacy @hondanamotiaru @djpyscho10646 Fuck Duolingo, it's designed to keep you stuck on the app rather than actually learning. Going word by word through a children's book alongside a bilingual dictionary is still better than Duolingo

@hondanamotiaru @djpyscho10646 Almost every day I wish I could read Japanese… you’d think this would make a guy drop everything and start learning. I really want to, but I keep not trying! There are tons of free apps! Maybe someday I can come back to this comic and understand it.

Shrinkflation pisses me off so bad because not only are you ripping me off but you're gaslighting me. I go talking about how there's less crackers in each sleeve and people treat me like I'm crazy. What's actually crazy is what we're putting up with from these corpos.

i used to hold my arms up at the sides bc i was really obsessed with meowth so i would call it “having arms like meowth” and i would do it all day everyday and my parents would tell me “we know you love meowth but please stop doing the arms like meowth” but they couldnt stop me
