Do YOUR Part. That’s the message of the day. We have 900,000 registered Black voters. On the first day of early voting only 21,000 Black people went to vote in the entire state. Only 90 people between the ages of 18-20 went to vote that were Black. Southern university has over 8,000 students, Grambling has over 4,000. Homecoming is on Oct 14th for both schools, that’s also Election Day. So voting early matters because we know you’re not missing the festivities. Let’s just keep it a buck. Do your part. People always want the advocates and activist to do the work, but our work becomes easier when we elect the right people. @wilsonforla is a Black man w a PHD, he will make a great governor. He can’t get there with these numbers. Do your part. I sacrifice time from my family to fight for all our families. I get blocked out of contract opportunities because I fight like I do.
